What follows governs your use of this website and your purchases from Caltura Vault — placing an order means you accept them.
The business behind this site
Caltura Vault trades online from Thane, Maharashtra and our catalogue is door hardware & locks, sold across India.
What we sell we have bought. We are not a manufacturer and claim no authorised-dealer status with anyone.
Orders
We accept an order at the point of dispatch rather than at payment . Before that we may decline: a stock shortfall, a pricing mistake, or an address we cannot verify.
If we turn down a paid order, the whole amount comes back.
About our listings
We describe items from what suppliers tell us and from the product in front of us . The photographs are ours, of the actual item, but colour rendering differs by display. If a description is materially wrong, the return policy covers you.
The goods themselves
Door hardware is sold as supplied, with the finishes and fittings described. Fitting is your responsibility, we give no security rating or certification for any lock, and nothing here is offered as insurance-approved.
Pricing
Prices are in Indian Rupees and include everything payable, with delivery shown separately at checkout . Prices can change, though never once your order is confirmed. Where an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we contact you before proceeding.
How you may use the site
- Keep your account details private — orders placed through your account are your responsibility
- Unlawful or disruptive use of this site is not permitted
- Reusing our photography or listing text commercially is not allowed
Liability
Our responsibility is to supply what you ordered as described, together with the remedies in our shipping, return and cancellation policies — so far as Indian law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and nothing here limits a right that cannot lawfully be limited.
Beyond what the manufacturer offers, and except as the law provides, goods carry no implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Which law applies
Indian law governs this agreement, in particular the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act 2000), the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 Jurisdiction sits with the courts at Thane, Maharashtra.
